Exhibition: Coordinated is the culmination of a four‑month design journey in which second-year Edinburgh College of Art fashion students were challenged to create commercially minded co-ord garments that balance creative ambition with real-world retail considerations.
A selection of the students’ co-ord garments will be on display at Multrees Walk during a 3-day exhibition, hosted by Genesis Studio. See the finished garments and the work involved as part of the wider project.
About the collaboration
Supported by experts from Multrees Walk and leading retail partners – Louis Vuitton, Harvey Nichols and Johnstons of Elgin – Edinburgh College of Art second- year students developed their concepts from initial sketches to finished pieces. Throughout the process, they explored design development, sustainability and material responsibility, audience insight, brand positioning, and storytelling.
