For Winter 2025, we trace the red thread of craft and trade that connects Scotland and Japan. We journey to Shiguchi, paying tribute to our long-standing trading ties with Japan that stretch back to the 19th century. Inspired by our archives, this season continues the story that began when Scottish plaids, tweeds and cashmere first travelled to Japan as it reopened to Western trade.
